ScopeSource is a referral and lead generation platform that connects homeowners with independent, third-party licensed contractors. We do not perform contracting work ourselves. We act solely as an intermediary to facilitate introductions between homeowners and contractors. ScopeSource does not employ the contractors in our network.

3. Referral Service: Not a Contractor

ScopeSource is not a contractor, general contractor, or construction company. All contracting work is performed by independent third-party contractors. Any agreement for services is solely between you and the contractor. ScopeSource is not a party to any contract between homeowners and contractors and bears no responsibility for the work performed, its quality, timeliness, or outcome.

4. Contractor Vetting Disclaimer

While we make reasonable efforts to verify that contractors in our network hold valid licensing and insurance at the time of onboarding, ScopeSource does not continuously monitor contractor credentials. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any contractor's license status, insurance coverage, qualifications, or ratings. You are encouraged to independently verify any contractor's credentials before hiring.

5. Free Service for Homeowners

Use of ScopeSource's matching service is provided free of charge to homeowners. We are compensated by contractors who participate in our network. This compensation may influence which contractors are displayed, but we endeavor to match homeowners with the most qualified available professionals.

6. User Responsibilities

By using ScopeSource, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information in all submissions
• Use the Service only for lawful purposes
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent project requests
• Not harass, threaten, or abuse contractors or ScopeSource staff
• Not attempt to circumvent or interfere with our platform

7. No Guarantee of Results

ScopeSource does not guarantee that you will be matched with a contractor, that a contractor will contact you, that a contractor will be available for your project, or that any project will be completed to your satisfaction. Contractor availability and response times vary.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SCOPESOURCE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SCOPESOURCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY CONTRACTOR RELATIONSHIP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
